Senior Food & Beverage Manager

Zero Bond Members Club| New York, NY

Position Overview:

The Senior Food & Beverage Manager at Zero Bond is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations across the club, ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and hospitality. This role works closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and other department heads to deliver a seamless, elevated experience in all dining outlets, bars, private event spaces, and club programming.

The Senior F&B Manager leads by example, mentors the service team, develops staff, and ensures operational excellence and financial performance across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, private dining rooms, café, lounge, and event spaces.
    • Maintain consistent service standards across all F&B operations.
    • Act as Manager on Duty during peak shifts, leading floor operations and ensuring member satisfaction.
  • Team Management and Development:
    • Manage and mentor Captains, Servers, Bartenders, and Support Staff.
    • Conduct regular training sessions on service standards, hospitality etiquette, wine and beverage knowledge, and club policies.
    • Collaborate with HR on hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
  • Member and Guest Experience:
    • Cultivate relationships with members to personalize service and enhance the overall experience.
    • Actively seek and respond to member feedback to continuously improve operations.
    • Ensure member privacy, exclusivity, and the club’s culture are always maintained.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Events, Membership, and culinary teams to execute private events, activations, and club programming.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across all service areas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive management experience in a high-end, luxury hospitality environment (private club, fine dining restaurant, or boutique hotel preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage large, diverse teams.
  • Expertise in both service and operational best practices; hands-on leader who leads by example.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an intuitive understanding of personalized hospitality.
  • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and culinary trends.
  • Experience working in a members-only or highly service-driven environment strongly preferred.
  • Flexible schedule; must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
