Job summary

Target in Tucson is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert. This role focuses on delivering an inspiring guest experience, maintaining freshness and accurate pricing, and supporting a fast-paced Food & Beverage team on the sales floor.

You will greet guests, help with product finding, support with replenishment and in-store operations, and ensure compliance with safety and beverage laws while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests and assist with finding items or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Deliver a consistently great guest experience and maintain Food & Beverage standards
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, in-stocks routines, labeling and organizing
• Follow all food safety requirements per Target policies
• Work with vendors to set up displays and organize backroom space
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and handle per policies
• Comply with federal, state and local adult beverage laws
• Use protective equipment properly and maintain safety practices
• Support guest services like back-up cashiers, order pickup and Drive-up
• All other duties based on business needs
