Job summary

Target is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert to create an easy, inspiring guest experience on the sales floor. You will greet guests, help locate products, resolve issues, and ensure every transaction ends with appreciation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and adherence to Food & Beverage standards and safety policies. Training is provided, with opportunities to handle multiple tasks and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

• Greet guests at various distances and provide warm, helpful interaction
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience during all hours of operations
• Uphold and maintain Food & Beverage Standards and processes
• Follow all food safety requirements per Target policies and procedures
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
• Coordinate with vendors to set up displays and organize backroom space
