Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to provide a welcoming guest experience, manage replenishment and displays, and ensure food safety standards are met. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and strong guest service.

The position requires 18+ years of age, basic cash handling, and comfort with handheld scanners. Training will cover all food & beverage standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, prioritizing guest needs over tasks
• Follow Food & Beverage standards and food safety requirements
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, merchandising, and data accuracy
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products
• Work with vendors to set up displays and manage backroom organization
• Locate damaged, recalled or expired items and process accordingly
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws
