Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to deliver a friendly, guest-first shopping experience in a fast-paced store environment. You will help guests locate items, resolve questions, and support teammates while upholding food safety and quality standards.

The role requires flexible hours, some lifting, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Training will cover company standards, merchandising, and guest service best practices.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture in Food & Beverage.
• Understanding sales trends, inventory, quality and freshness management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and routines.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and provide helpful interactions.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet: 10ft be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave; 4ft greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Follow Food & Beverage Standards and processes including deliveries, replenishment, signing and organizing.
