Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to join the Food & Beverage team in a store setting. You will help deliver a guest-first experience, ensure freshness, pricing accuracy, and support in-store operations to meet guest needs.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with food or grocery experience preferred. You will use handheld scanners, stock, assist guests, and uphold safety and quality standards while working with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food or grocery experience preferred.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other tech as directed.
• Work independently and with a team; multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team members and other areas as needed while staying respectful.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with fresh, complete shopping.
• Follow food safety requirements and beverage policies.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products.
• Work with vendors on displays and backroom organization.
• Identify damaged or expired items and handle per policy.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local beverage laws.
• Operate PPE and safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.
• Assist with back-up cashier, OPUs, and Drive-up duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
