Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to deliver a friendly, guest-focused shopping experience on the sales floor. You’ll help guests locate items, maintain freshness, and uphold food safety standards while thriving in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires 18+ years of age with prior food or grocery experience preferred; you will collaborate with teammates, operate scanners and handheld devices, and support back-up cashier and drive-up duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (Bakery Only)
• Experience in food or grocery preferred but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other tech as directed
• Work independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meet timeframes

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests and helping them find items
• Help guests resolve questions to ensure smooth shopping experiences
• Support teammates and assist in other areas while staying positive
• Uphold and execute Food & Beverage standards and processes
• Follow all food safety requirements and safety policies
• Assist with back-up cashier, order pick up, and drive-up duties as needed
• Locate damaged or recalled items and ensure proper backroom organization
