Job summary

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin is hiring a Distribution Center Specialist to receive, stock, and process orders in a fast-paced warehouse. You will unload trucks, input data into CERES, and manage inventory across dry, cooler, and freezer zones.

Daily duties include order picking, printing paperwork, and maintaining accurate records. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a mission-driven food distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus related experience.
• Must obtain AAA Food Handler safety accreditation within 90 days.
• Ability to work 6:00am–2:00pm schedule starting Jan 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming product into the distribution center, unload trucks and assist with donations.
• Stock received products in dry, cooler, and freezer zones; enter data into CERES.
• Process daily order picking and pulling for pickup/delivery; ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Maintain order paperwork and labels; assist with daily/weekly cycle counts.
• Support other distribution center activities and promoting safe, clean working conditions.
