Job summary

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin seeks a Distribution Center Specialist to manage receiving, stocking in cold, dry and cooler zones, and CERES data entry. This role unloads trucks, processes post-receipt adjustments, and maintains accurate inventory records and paperwork.

You will perform daily order picking for pickup and delivery, stage orders in proper temp zones, ensure FEFO/FIFO accuracy, and support volunteers, while upholding safety and food-handling standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience.
• AAA Food Handler safety accreditation within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to work the 6:00am - 2:00pm schedule starting January 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming product into the distribution center and input into CERES.
• Unload trucks, stock product in the appropriate temp zones (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Process daily order picking and pulling of orders for pickup and delivery with appropriate temp storage.
• Maintain accurate order paperwork and assist with inventory adjustments as needed.
