Job summary

Houston Food Bank is looking for an Inventory Associate to maintain daily warehouse operations, including receiving, order selecting, bin slotting, and sanitation. You’ll support first-shift receiving and various Operations programs while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping, cycle counts, and collaboration with Volunteer Services, with occasional weekend coverage as volumes require.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehousing or receiving experience.
• Food warehousing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend all required meetings and maintain punctuality.
• Assist with cycle counts and receiving operations.
• Tag and rack products in correct bin locations.
• Maintain accurate records and complete ROdetail sheets.
• Support volunteers and Saturday coverage as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and a clean warehouse.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies with staff.
