Job summary

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin is seeking a Distribution Center Specialist in Madison, WI to manage inbound product, inventory, and order fulfillment. You will stock materials in freezer, cooler, and dry zones, enter data into CERES, and ensure timely, accurate picking and shipping.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1+ year related experience, and Food Handler accreditation within 90 days. The position offers full-time hours, a daytime schedule, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Must obtain AAA Food Handler safety accreditation within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to work the 6:00am - 2:00pm schedule starting January 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming product into the distribution center and verify documents.
• Stock received product into dry, freezer, and cooler zones and enter into CERES.
• Process daily order picking and pull orders for pickup and delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and rotate stock using FEFO/FIFO methods.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack, keeping equipment and work area safe.

Education
