Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee all aspects of food production and service operations. You will apply management principles to deliver quality service, control costs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, scheduling, training and payroll, plus organizing receiving, storage and inventory of food and supplies.

Qualifications

• Requires ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
• Required Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Preferred: Associates Degree

Summary

Supervises all aspects of food production and service operations. Utilizes management principles to achieve service, outcome, and cost. Collaborates with director, coordinators, and team members to develop and monitor Impact Care. Performs TM functions to include interviewing, hiring, selecting, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions and terminations, scheduling, training, and payroll. Organizes the receiving, storing, rotating, and inventory of food and supplies to meet production and service requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
