Job Description

To oversee set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with LM Services’ high standards of quality. Supervise banquet set-up staff. Maintain banquet rooms in proper condition by submitting work orders to engineering. Perform reviews of staff.

Examples of Duties

Essential Functions

• Communicates continually with staff during shift to ensure the accurate set up of function rooms.
• Oversees staff to maintain production and accomplish the requirements of the daily tasks.
• Sets up all meeting/function rooms to guest specifications, involving physical activity in transporting materials.
• Supplies and replenishes meeting rooms after meetings and returns items to storage.
• Breaks down meeting rooms after meetings and returns items to storage.
• Submits work order requests to engineering for room maintenance.
• Reads diagrams and sets rooms accordingly.
• Maintains cleaning schedule to keep rooms presentable.

Supportive Functions

• Performs general cleaning tasks using standard products.
• Supports other areas of Food and Beverage operations, including supervising, handling special projects, and promotions.
• Assists servers, bartenders, and set-up attendants as needed.
• Adheres to liquor regulations regarding service.
• Possesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential functions, including effective communication, food and beverage knowledge, and physical ability to lift and transport materials.

Qualification Standards

The hospitality industry operates 24/7; flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, may be required. A hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
