OTO Development is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor in Scottsdale to lead banquet and catering events, oversee kitchen and service timing, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all F&B functions. You will collaborate with the Sales team, review event orders with clients, and maintain high standards of hospitality and sanitation.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple events with grace under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and oversee setup of meeting spaces for banquet and catering events per banquet event orders.
• Direct timing of food preparation with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and presentation.
• Supervise serving of all food and beverage for banquets and gallery.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure client satisfaction with event details (room setup, F&B, A/V, quality).
• Meet with clients on event day to review changes and ensure quality delivery.
• Welcome guests and monitor dining area, ensuring supplies and guest needs are met.
• Ensure sanitation procedures for food handling and maintain required certificates.
• Assist in ordering food/beverage items and controlling costs and waste.
• Assist with staff scheduling and training.

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for Food and Beverage Supervisor.

What will you be doing most days?

• Execute and oversee the setup of meeting spaces for banquet and catering events to ensure compliance with banquet event orders with optimal level of service, quality and hospitality.
• Work with and supervise kitchen staff on the timing of food preparation to ensure that meals are ready on time in accordance with specifications on the banquet event order, and are served in a visually appealing manner.
• Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage for banquets and gallery.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure clients are happy with all aspects of their events including room set up, F&B service, A/V functions and food quality.
• Meet with the clients on the day of event to review the Banquet Event Order and any changes to ensure delivery of a quality product.
• Welcome guests and monitors the dining area during meal time to ensure adequate supplies, that guest needs are met, and supports the hotel’s overall hospitality image and objectives.
• Follow required sanitation procedures for food handling safety. Obtains and maintains any food handling certificates that may apply.
• Assist in ordering of food and beverage items as well as controlling of cost and waste.
• Assist with scheduling staff.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any guest questions or concerns
• Assist in the selection, training and development of team members.
• Work quickly and independently to resolve operation issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate team members.
• Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the Banquet areas and equipment to protect the assets and ensure quality service.
• Must be professional and hospitable at all times and maintain a professional appearance
• Assist with gallery host/front desk responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements For This Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
