Job Description

As the Restaurant Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the daily operations of our lively dining venues. You'll oversee team members, ensure top-notch quality control, and maximize revenue across establishments, you'll uphold our commitment to exceptional service standards. Additionally, you'll handle guest inquiries and feedback, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among our team members. Prepare to lead an exciting culinary journey as the driving force behind the daily operations of our dining venues!

As a Food and Beveverage Manager, you will:

  • Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedural manuals covering service standards, cash handling, menu item preparation, safety and security, purchasing, ordering, receiving, stocking, requisitioning, and internal audit policies.
  • Train supervisory staff to ensure adherence to standards and maintain consistency in operations.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs and sales incentive initiatives to drive sales growth, achieve budgeted check averages, and increase profits.
  • Conduct formal performance evaluations for all restaurant staff to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide excellent service to owners and guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Prepare and adjust work schedules for the entire staff to ensure adequate coverage and meet customer service standards within budgetary guidelines.
  • Organize regular training classes and meetings for all staff members to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Enforce disciplinary actions for individual staff members in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Lead the selection, interviewing, orientation, and training of new hires in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement ongoing staff training programs to ensure compliance with State Health Regulations.
  • Prepare weekly revenue forecasts and staff work schedules within established staffing guidelines.
  • Operate outlets within budgeted guidelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain par stock levels for each outlet per department procedure to ensure adequate inventory.
  • Administer liquor/beverage requisitions per department procedure, maintaining inventory control.
  • Ensure adherence to beverage controls per company and department policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise team members at the location, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high performance standards.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in appraising performance and rewarding team members for their contributions.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
