Job summary

SoftDev Incorporated seeks a detail-oriented FOIA/Privacy Act Case Processor to prepare complex Track 2 USCIS records for government approval. You will validate requests, review multi-page records, apply precise redactions, and draft final action letters with exemption explanations.

You must protect PII and sensitive information while meeting strict quality standards. The role requires the ability to interpret policies, maintain accuracy, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or at least two years of college, legal-support, records management, or related experience.
• At least two years of experience reviewing records or high-volume casework with quality standards.
• Ability to interpret policies, identify responsive material, apply redactions, and draft accurate correspondence.
• Attention to detail, reading comprehension, judgement, productivity, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with electronic records systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process Track 2 FOIA/Privacy Act cases in FIFO order per SOPs and government direction.
• Verify requester/subject details, documents, consent, and correspondences.
• Confirm record matches the request and determine FOIA/privacy Act applicability.
• Review ~260–500 page responsive records per case.
• Identify responsive material, apply redactions and exemptions, and flag special processing.
• Protect PII, law-enforcement, and sensitive information.
• Create complete case notes and accurate final action letters for review.
• Submit work for quality control and government approval; address reviewer feedback.
• Correct and resubmit rejected cases within two business days.
• Meet production goals while maintaining at least 95% AQL.
• Complete required security and privacy training and report incidents.
