Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field or 5+ years FOIA experience.
• Two years of FOIA case-management database experience (e.g., FOIAXpress).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook; knowledge of FOIA/Privacy Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process FOIA/Privacy Act requests from intake to final response.
• Review requests for scope, sufficiency, and processing actions.
• Communicate with requesters to clarify or narrow requests.
• Coordinate searches with government offices and custodians.
• Apply exemptions, redact sensitive information, and prepare final letters.
