Job summary

Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant is seeking an outgoing leader to head our restaurant service team. You will hire, train, and supervise FOH staff while coordinating service 4-5 nights a week and ensuring top guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has prior lead or management experience, strong communication with diverse personalities, and the ability to manage sales and labor metrics. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Night and weekend availability
• High level of knowledge around food, craft beer, wine, cider, and spirits
• Experience with Toast POS and Restaurant 365 software a plus
• Have or obtain upon hire, a valid: Washington State Food Worker's Card & Class 12 M.A.S.T. Permit
• Ability to thrive working on their feet up to 8-10 hours in a day
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be used in external and in house communications
• Ability to effectively maintain service standards and financial benchmarks in both the short and long term.
• An ability to master new technology apps and computer systems quickly

Responsibilities

• Supervise all FOH staff as acting manager on duty
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences, resolving guest issues
• Maintain training and service standards per training manual
• Educate and train team members in all FOH aspects
• Uphold cash handling procedures
• Create and adjust staff schedules for operations and profitability
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
