Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group in Austin, TX seeks a dedicated Food Service Manager to oversee daily FOH restaurant operations, including training and scheduling, to uphold Service Standards. You will supervise Restaurants/Bars and Room Service where applicable and ensure guest satisfaction while meeting budgets.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards, coordinating with servers/hosts during peak periods, and leading departmental meetings to drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Experience managing cost controls is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop all FOH restaurant staff in fine dining service standards.
• Maintain schedules, payroll, requisitions and other administrative support to maintain food and beverage cost controls including inventory and pars.
• Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings daily.
• Maintain communication with all departments to ensure customer service needs are met.
• Create seating charts and station assignments daily, following up with support staff of daily expected business.
• Maintain all reservation systems and book to accommodate business demands
