The role requires coordinating with clients, internal departments, and Conference Services to ensure flawless events, maintaining compliance with health regulations and budget considerations. Strong leadership and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as banquet manager or similar role.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain a warm, friendly attitude.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize staff and maintain standards of service.
• Act as client liaison and communicate with internal departments to deliver quality service.
• Ensure meeting rooms are set up correctly based on setup sheets.
• Assign pre/post event duties using information from Salesforce.
• Attend pre-conference meetings with Conference Services to ensure event details.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health regulations.
• Design sequence of service and schedule staff for events.
• Communicate with client contacts throughout events.
• Control payroll and maintain records for compliance.
• Coordinate event operation with service staff and conference rooms setup.
• Maintain high-quality service, train staff to uphold standards.
• Account for beverage consumption and banquet checks with Conference Services.
• Participate in leadership and daily management meetings.
• Host daily shift meetings for banquet staff.
