Job summary

Barrel House in Marion, IA is seeking an AGM to train, direct, and assist Front Of House staff under the general manager’s supervision. The role includes cross-training, ensuring service standards, managing FOH inventory and liquor orders, and supervising bartending staff.

The AGM will lead by example, promote positive morale, and ensure health and safety standards are met while delivering quality guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial or supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Efficient operation of a POS system, including KDS.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the general manager regarding shift issues.
• Leads FOH team to promote positive morale and service standards.
• Oversees service steps and bar standards.
• Responsible for FOH inventory and liquor orders review.
• Trains and implements roll-out specials to FOH staff.
• Executes the Expo role and delivers orders to guests.
• Ensures menu items are prepared to standard.
