Mau Marine of Okoboji is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations, oversee servers and hosts, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at the Okoboji store.

This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, while upholding our hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or related field is a plus.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations, assign server sections, and manage staffing.
• Resolve guest concerns effectively to cultivate repeat patronage.
• Collaborate with hosts to manage customer flow and estimate wait times.
• Train all front-of-house staff to exceed customer expectations.
• Uphold company policies and service standards.
• Participate in team meetings and suggest service improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
