Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to serve as ambassador to the JINYA restaurant concepts, ensuring food and services exceed our standards of excellence.

They provide daily guidance and motivation to all team members, specifically front of house, as well as maximizing productivity, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to service and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in restaurant and/or hospitality industry.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication; multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment; enforce sanitation standards and safety protocols.
• Ensures restaurant cleanliness and front-of-house safety, oversees beverage/food prep.
• Develops and operates front-of-house team; ensures high food and service quality controls.
• Monitors service and hospitality standards; applies steps of service.
• Controls costs by managing labor, waste, and beverage usage; ensures proper inventory.

Education

High School Diploma preferred, College is a plus
