Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar in Arlington, VA seeks a General Manager to lead the full restaurant operation and set performance standards for FOH/BOH teams. You will ensure top-tier service, food quality, safety, and cleanliness while maximizing productivity and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and communications with senior leadership to meet revenue and cost objectives. A hands-on leader with strong coaching abilities will thrive in our fast-paced, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong verbal and written communication; multi-task capability.
• Lead by example and motivate team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of restaurant systems (ALOHA) and MS Office.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead entire restaurant operation.
• Serve customers professionally per steps of service.
• Oversee guest experience from start to finish.
• Communicate daily operation updates via text, email, and phone.
• Cross-train staff to improve efficiency and train Franchise Operations.
• Manage scheduling, breaks, and payroll alignment.
• Ensure cleanliness and oversee the cleaning program.
• Identify and resolve operational problems promptly.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Oversee FOH/BOH staff and management team.
• Ensure daily reporting and end-of-night summaries.
• Lead with urgency and positive attitude.
• Address safety concerns and basic repairs promptly.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct evaluations.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff; respond to guest feedback.
• Meet revenue objectives for food, beverage, and labor.
