Job summary

The Feinstein Group is seeking a Front of House (FOH) Manager to promote business growth, hire and train FOH staff, and ensure patrons receive exceptional drinks, food, and service. You will manage inventory, plan events, and enforce quality and safety controls to maximize customer satisfaction and profits.

Candidate should be observant, a strong communicator with problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and able to work with diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar (>$4M)
  • Bachelor's Degree is a plus
  • Ability to anticipate manager and customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing Fusion Prep to maintain prep consistency, food safety, and cleanliness
  • Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service
  • Creating effective schedules and placing staff appropriately
  • Using training platforms to ensure ongoing education
  • Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls
  • Planning and participating in promotional events
  • Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff
  • Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons
  • Understanding budgets and P&L is a plus
  • Proactively solving problems as they arise
  • Flawless execution of Restaurant Systems, Policies, and Procedures
  • Completing assigned shift duties
  • Ensuring timely FOH training for all employees
  • Managing FOH labor costs in line with budgets
  • Holding staff to high standards and accountability
  • Money handling accuracy (cash drawers, safe counts, tips, DSR)
  • Leading monthly staff training meetings
  • Understanding progressive documentation

Job Description

At The Feinstein Group, as a FOH Manager, you will promote and grow the business, hire and train Front of house staff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service.

You will also manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.

To succeed as a FOH Manager, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem-solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.

Expectations/Responsibilities

Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, and hold objects with hands
