Job summary

Olive & Finch Collective in Denver is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations. This exempt, full-time, non-tip-eligible role focuses on front-of-house leadership, hiring, training, and staffing FOH teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead safety and sanitation, manage labor and costs, coordinate FOH/BOH communication, and step in for the GM when needed.

Qualifications

2-4 years of progressive restaurant management or leadership experience.
Lead, train, and develop diverse FOH teams.
Strong knowledge of guest service, safety, sanitation, and facilities management.
Solid financial acumen with experience in cost control and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Oversee and support FOH operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Hire, train, schedule, and develop FOH staff, fostering a positive and professional culture.
Uphold safety, sanitation, and compliance standards throughout the restaurant.
Assist the General Manager with cost controls, including labor, supplies, and operating expenses.
Lead pre-shift meetings and provide in-the-moment coaching to FOH team members.
Monitor guest feedback and assist with service recovery when necessary.
Step in to lead shifts in the General Manager's absence.
