Job summary

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Wantagh, NY is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to assist the General Manager with daily Front of House operations, guest service, and profitability. You will supervise hourly team members, coach staff, and ensure a welcoming, sanitary dining environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, cash handling, and adherence to company standards. Nights, weekends and holidays are required; ServSafe Manager certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Proven drive for quality guest service in the restaurant industry.
• Problem solve and handle high stress situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivation with strong interpersonal, organizational, time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and assessment skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have or obtain ServSafe Manager’s Certificate.
• Prior experience as GM/manager/supervisor or shift lead is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front of House operations to ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead and support team members during shifts, including scheduling and guest interaction.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and manage costs effectively.
• Open and close the restaurant in accordance with company procedures.
• Handle financial tasks such as cash handling and inventory management.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
