Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor in Wantagh, NY to support the General Manager with daily Front of House operations. You will supervise hourly team members, ensure a clean, welcoming environment, and drive guest satisfaction and restaurant profitability.

The role requires leading shifts, scheduling, and coaching staff, with occasional night/weekend work. This is typically part-time with potential to move to full-time; health benefits may apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have experience leading front-of-house teams in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Ability to manage scheduling and guest interactions effectively.
• ServSafe Manager’s Certificate required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front of House operations to ensure service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead and support team members during shifts, including scheduling and shift planning.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and manage costs effectively.
• Open and close the restaurant following company procedures.
• Handle cash and inventories and ensure accuracy in POS transactions.
• Demonstrate leadership, coaching, and adherence to standards and guest-first culture.

Qualifications

• Have a proven drive for quality guest service in the Restaurant Industry.
• Problem solve and handle high stress situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Have motivation with strong interpersonal, organizational, time management skills.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have strong leadership and assessment skills.
• Be willing to work nights, weekends and Holidays.
• Have or obtain ServSafe Manager’s Certificate.
• Prior experience as a general manager, manager, assistant manager, supervisor, shift lead positions are desirable.
