Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in daily Front of House operations. The role emphasizes Legendary Food, Legendary Service, and developing a high-performing team.

You will help manage front-of-house service, train staff, schedule departments, and implement sales initiatives while maintaining restaurant culture and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversees service in the Front of House
• Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
• Oversees/approves Front of House side work
• Provides/oversees thorough training
• Works during peak business times to set the pace in the Front of House
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant
• Ensures 100% table visitation to gather customer insights and assist Service Manager in developing a sales strategy
• Leads by example to help develop employees and assistants
• Helps to cross-train employees
• Oversees scheduling of designated departments, as directed by the Service Manager
• Develops promotions (incentives) to drive sales and conducts alley rallies
• Manages compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service training requirements
• Understands and practices safe food handling procedures
• Ensures cleanliness and guest safety are maintained at all times
• Helps to control the guest flow
• Assist with liquor inventory & ordering
• Assists Local Store Marketer with building sales
• Maintaining culture of the restaurant and living our core values every day; passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
