Job Title: Import/Export Compliance Specialist
Duration: 6 months
Summary:
Manage import/export compliance for the division, ensuring alignment with U.S. and international trade regulations. Serve as the key point of contact for brokerage and freight forwarder issues and support cargo security programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain import/export manuals and ensure proper recordkeeping.
- Classify products (HTS, COO, licensing) and support compliance for new products.
- Ensure adherence to trade regulations including CTPAT, ITAR, and EAR.
- Provide FTA data and assist with government licensing applications.
- Conduct audits and use compliance tools to monitor trade activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments and corporate teams to maintain compliance.
- Train staff on trade compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Experience in trade compliance, forwarding, or brokerage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of lean enterprise practices is a plus.
