Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Human Resource Service Center (HRSC) seeks a customer-focused, detail-oriented analyst to support FMLA administration and leave management.

As a Human Resource Analyst 1, you will review eligibility, process requests in the FMLA Workbench and SAP, provide guidance to employees and supervisors, track cases, and coordinate with Workers’ Compensation, ADA, SEAP and LR while assisting payroll inquiries.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• FMLA Administration: Review eligibility, process requests, and manage actions in the FMLA Workbench and SAP.
• Leave Guidance: Provide direction and information to employees, supervisors, and HR staff about FMLA and leave donations.
• Case Monitoring: Track case details, monitor due dates, and maintain confidential medical information.
• Program Coordination: Work with HR partners on cases that overlap with WC, ADA, SEAP, or LR.
• Payroll Support: Respond to payroll questions related to payments and absence reporting.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure benefits and actions follow established directives, regulations, and the Affordable Care Act.
