Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping with accuracy and efficiency.

About the Role

Our client, a leading name in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry , is seeking an experienced and diligent Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at their facility in Welkom . You will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient and safe storage and dispatch of products, and leading a team of warehouse staff. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and ensuring that products reach consumers in optimal condition within the Free State province.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Implement and improve warehouse processes and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and used safely.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and motivate a team to achieve high performance standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
