Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.

Job description

Job Description:

• Plan, assign, and supervise daily tasks for warehouse staff (pickers, packers, forklift operators, loaders)

• Prepare daily/weekly work schedules based on incoming orders, shipments, and workload

• Monitor team performance, productivity, and attendance

• Conduct daily briefings/toolbox talks to communicate priorities and safety reminders

• Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff; support onboarding of new hires

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, PPE usage, and SOPs

• Oversee stock receiving, put-away, storage, and issuance of materials

• Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems (e.g., People soft, Oracle, or similar)

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock takes; investigate and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages or overstocking

• Ensure proper labelling, categorization, and storage of materials (FIFO/FEFO as applicable)

• Maintain accurate documentation for goods in/out, transfers, returns, and write-offs

• Liaise with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align material flow with operational needs

• Prepare daily/weekly inventory and productivity reports for management

• Support internal and external audits with accurate records

• Identify process improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and reduce waste/loss

• Ensure warehouse layout, cleanliness, and organization meet operational standards

• Oversee proper use and maintenance of equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, racking systems)

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics

• 1–2 years of supervisory role in a warehouse or logistics environment

• Good knowledge of inventory control principles (FIFO, cycle counting, stock reconciliation)

• Proficiency in inventory/warehouse management software (WMS/ERP)

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with occupational health & safety standards

• Forklift certification will be advantage Working Conditions

• Able to work in a warehouse and yard environment and may require to perform prolonged standing, walking, and lifting

• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or shifts when required by operational needs.
