Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks an Operations Technician to safely operate plant equipment and manage site work per company procedures.

You will oversee loading and unloading fly ash, monitor silo levels, perform tests, and ensure safety compliance while supporting maintenance and reporting duties.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in a related field, strong communication, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• Strong reading and comprehension of simple instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork to coordinate with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to support a zero-injury safety culture.
• Attend safety meetings and follow safety guidelines.
• Monitor and record fly ash levels in silos; place orders as needed.
• Pull samples and perform tests on fly ash from loads and silos.
• Load/unload fly ash using trucks, rail cars, or barges.
• Operate loading equipment and production equipment, including start-up and shutdown.
