Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Test and Launch Engineer to join the Launch Operations and OLS Test Operations team on the Space Coast. You will test, maintain, and troubleshoot ground support equipment and fluid systems to enable high cadence spaceflight.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness, safety, and reliability of launch infrastructure. Ideal candidates have a BS in a technical field, multi-discipline fluids experience, and strong instrumentation knowledge, with

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or related field from an accredited university.
Experience with fluids test engineering, console operator, or equivalent hands-on role (3+ Level II, 5+ Level III, 8+ Sr).
Working knowledge of systems including pressurized gas, cryogenics, hydraulics, instrumentation, or controls.
Experience reading schematics and P&IDs; 1+ year creating English work instructions or test procedures.
US citizenship or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Maintain launch facility components to support launch activities.
Translate engineering requirements into robust test and maintenance processes.
Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production to accelerate space builds.
Develop and maintain test docs, work instructions, and inspection plans.
Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for reliability.
Adhere to safety standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and drive safety-by-design.
Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions.
