Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a hands-on Test and Launch Engineer to join the Launch Operations and OLS Test Operations team. You will test, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot ground support equipment and propulsion-related systems to enable high cadence spaceflight.

The role requires translating requirements into repeatable test processes, drafting work instructions, and supporting root-cause analysis while upholding AS9100/ISO 9001 standards for a safe and reliable launch infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or related field.
• Experience with fluids test engineering or equivalent hands-on role.
• Ability to read schematics and P&IDs.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain launch facility components to support launch activities.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust test/maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams.
• Develop and maintain test documentation and inspection plans.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality and safety standards.
