Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Fluid Power MRO Specialist to apply hydraulic and pneumatic expertise and deliver technical fluid power solutions to customers. You will collaborate with Account Managers in US Service Centers to build relationships with local and strategic accounts across the assigned region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fluid power experience including practical applications (hydraulic and/or pneumatic).
• HS Diploma or Equivalent required; Technical Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree or extensive fluid power application experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire and passion to learn; IFPS Certification preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics
• Strong written & verbal communication & English grammar skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an engagement plan with local US Service Center sales teams to target high-potential accounts.
• Serve as regional fluid power expert and facilitate supplier interactions with sales teams and customers.
• Prepare and present fluid power solutions to customers, reviewing drawings and documents.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to create technical proposals.
• Provide fluid power training to staff and customers.
• Coordinate projects with US Service Center teams.
• Help develop Fluid Power knowledge base with case histories and market data.
