Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, the world’s largest fluid power distributor, is seeking a Fluid Power MRO Specialist to serve as the local technical expert for customers in the Boise region. You will help identify high-potential accounts and work with Account Managers to grow our business.

The role requires 3+ years of fluid power experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fluid power experience (hydraulic/pneumatic).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office and remote collaboration tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Cooperatively create and execute engagement plans with local US Service Center sales teams to identify high potential accounts.
• Act as local, technical fluid power expert and facilitate supplier interactions with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and present fluid power solutions, including reviewing drawings and proposals.
• Conduct fluid power training for internal associates and customers.
• Develop relationships with supplier resources to specify products and systems for customer performance.
• Coordinate projects with US Service Center personnel.
• Contribute to the Fluid Power knowledge base with case histories and activity records.
