Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama seeks a Manager of Operations to lead the Flowline manufacturing team.

You will provide technical leadership, oversee manufacturing activities, and drive process improvements to support world-class performance in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 8–10 years in aviation manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership, plus experience with SAP, MES, and HMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Aviation, Business or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in aviation manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Aviation Production disciplines (Mechanics / Structure / Electrics).
• Experience in a multicultural work environment.
• Experience with Quality / Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills in a structured way.
• Experience as a member and leader of an international team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Operations team in the Flowline to deliver completely equipped, furnished, powered and certified single aisle aircraft on time, quality and cost.
• Provide direction and oversight to production activities and achieve 95%+ In-station Build of the A/C for all value streams of work.
• Master all elements of the Performance Management Center.
• Monitor and manage budgets regarding consumables, hand tools, and Jigs/Tooling maintenance.
• Address Work Orders, WIP materials management, Design and Work Process questions and Ground Test activities.
• Manage all employees assigned to the Station, including performance management and development.
