Qualifications

• ASCP/AMT/AAB generalist certification as MLS/MT OR ASCP/ AAB discipline certification for designated Academic Medical Center facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized laboratory testing within established time frames.
• Performs quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting with proper documentation.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains accreditation standards; follows safety and proficiency testing protocols.
• Manages supply and reagent inventory and supports cost-reduction initiatives.
• Adapts to patient populations while maintaining privacy and professional communication.
• Other related duties as required.
