Formación

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field.
• Current license in the state of practice (if applicable).
• ASCP/AMT/AAB generalist or discipline certification required depending on facility.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and specialized laboratory testing with accuracy and within established timeframes.
• Maintains quality control, documents corrective actions, and troubleshoots instrument issues.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness; participates in performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Handles specimen processing with attention to privacy and safety; communicates results clearly to the care team.
• Demonstrates adaptability to patient populations and maintains professional conduct and confidentiality.
