Job summary

Thisiscny in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform flow cytometry analyses, including lymphocyte subset, stem cell, and leukemia/lymphoma testing, in a clinical laboratory setting.

The role includes maintenance, quality control, and potential development of new tests, with teaching responsibilities for Medical Technology students, CP residents and fellows. Work days are Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

• NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist; 2 years clinical laboratory experience.
• Must be able to distinguish colors for laboratory tests.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of clinical laboratory experience may be considered for a commensurate title and salary.
• Flow Cytometry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform lymphocyte subset analysis, stem cell analysis and leukemia/lymphoma analysis in flow cytometry laboratory.
• Maintain and quality control laboratory systems.
• Develop new tests as needed.
• Teach Medical Technology students, CP residents and fellows.
