Job summary

Upstate Medical University in Syracuse is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform critical laboratory analyses including Lymphocyte subset and stem cell analysis. The successful candidate will maintain quality control processes and develop new tests while teaching Medical Technology students and fellows.

Qualified applicants must possess a NYS license and have at least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience. This position works Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical laboratory experience required.
• Candidates with less experience or equivalent qualifications may apply.
• Must be able to distinguish colors for laboratory tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform Lymphocyte subset analysis and stem cell analysis in the laboratory.
• In charge of maintenance and quality control.
• Teach Medical Technology students, CP residents, and fellows.
