Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Flow Cytometry Technologist to perform a full range of tests including T subsets, CD34 counts, and leukemia/lymphoma panels using 10 color flow. You will confirm accuracy of results and report findings to pathologists and clinicians.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in MLS or life sciences, 1–3 years of related experience, and proficiency with MS Office. ASCP registered and NCA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Immunology or other Life Science discipline required.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs for specimen handling and testing.
• Participates in evaluating new methods, procedures and instruments and writes SOPs.
• Performs startup, maintenance, QC, calibration and data entry for instruments.
• Produces high quality results for physicians and clients while maximizing throughput and minimizing turnaround time.
• Maintains supplies and assists with inventory of reagents and materials.
