Job summary

Regional Cancer Care Associates seeks a Flow Cytometry Technologist to perform high-complexity leukemia and lymphoma immunophenotyping in our Hematopathology Laboratory at the Little Silver, NJ location.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, 4+ years in flow cytometry, and demonstrated proficiency with the Navios EX, ClearLLab reagents, and Kaluza software; ASCP certification is preferred. Compensation ranges from $31.03 to $60.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences) or related area is required.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Flow Cytometry is required, with demonstrated experience in leukemia and lymphoma immunophenotyping
• Proficiency in Flow Cytometry data analysis and gating strategies is required, including the ability to independently perform complex flow gating analysis, identify abnormal cell populations, and interpret immunophenotypic patterns using analysis software such as Kaluza.

Responsibilities

• Perform leukemia and lymphoma immunophenotyping using flow cytometry and related analyses.
• Independently analyze Flow Cytometry data using Kaluza software to assess immunophenotypic patterns and prepare findings for pathologist review.
• Operate Beckman Coulter Navios EX and use ClearLLab reagents for specimen preparation, staining, acquisition, and documentation.
• Correlate Flow Cytometry findings with clinical data and laboratory results for accurate case evaluation.
• Maintain instrument startup, quality control, maintenance, and documentation per regulatory policies.
