Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Flow Cytometry instruments in the Miami area. You will provide field and remote technical support, perform preventive maintenance, installations, relocations, repairs, and instrument certifications (IQ/OQ), while actively managing spare parts and tools.

Required is a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Field Service experience, plus a valid US driving license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or extensive relevant Field Service Engineer experience.
• Valid US driving license required.
• Must live within daily commuting distance of Downtown Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs and corrective field change orders on Flow Cytometry instrumentation.
• Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software and laser failures using established procedures.
