General Mills, Inc. is seeking a Flour Miller for Avon Mill. The role focuses on milling and processing operations with 8-hour shifts and starting pay of $28.02 per hour, plus $0.50 per hour for second and third shifts.

The plant processes 50 lb flour bags for restaurants and consumer products; it runs around 24/7 with overtime opportunities and premium pay for weekends. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a noisy,

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical/technical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Milling experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills with digital tools and systems.
• English communication abilities required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty conditions.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety standards.

Mansioni

• Milling and processing operations.
• Maintain inventory, lot tracking, and documentation.
• Monitor milling units and equipment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Sanitation and housekeeping of milling areas.
• Assist startup, changeover, and shutdown of equipment.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training new employees.
