Job summary

Genie is seeking a District Sales Manager to oversee a Florida territory, including Tampa or Orlando. You will sell Genie products to distributors, dealers, and end-users, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

You must live in the territory and have a home office setup. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, plus a track record in strategic selling and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for market penetration within the assigned territory, including MIX, margin and new product management.
• Establish and maintain strong relations with dealers, distributors and end-users.
• Service existing customers while developing a new customer base.
• Act as a problem solver to help customers improve and grow their business.
• Provide product training, leadership, and marketing support to build loyalty with distribution partners.
• Develop relationships with builders, developers, contractors, engineers, architects and end-users to drive sales through distribution and National Accounts.
• Prospect and cold call, maintain regular customer contact with proactive follow-up to grow revenue.
• Communicate new business opportunities and market intelligence to the company.
• Develop territory sales budgets and individual account goals, promoting product loyalty.
