The Foth Companies are seeking a dynamic Business Development Professional – Client Team Leader to expand our Florida footprint. This role suits a proven hunter who cultivates new opportunities, builds long‑term partnerships, and drives strategic growth in solid waste market segments.

You may work from the Jacksonville office or remotely from Pensacola or Jupiter regions, with option for fully remote arrangements as you lead client relationships and shape winning proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or similar discipline.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience in public or private sector.
• Experience with solid waste permitting, design, construction, and/or compliance.
• Proven track record developing, retaining and maintaining clients.
• Familiarity with federal and state regulatory requirements for waste facilities and emerging issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development to build new opportunities and a robust project pipeline.
• Lead proposals and presentations to win projects.
• Foster long-term client relationships and loyalty.
• Develop and implement strategic selling to address risks and stakeholder concerns.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Stay informed on legislation related to solid waste facilities and sustainability practices.
• Participate in strategic planning, deployment, and growth initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and share knowledge on emerging waste management technologies.
• Mentor and coach team members to uphold excellence.
