Job summary

HK Research Corporation, part of IP Corporation, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for the Florida territory. This field-based role blends technical product knowledge with consultative sales to support resin solutions across coatings, marine, and industrial markets.

You will manage accounts, perform site visits, provide troubleshooting and application support, collaborate with Sales, Technical Service, Product Management, and R&D, and travel 40–60% to grow business within Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 1–5+ years in technical sales or related field.
• Experience with composites, polyester resins, coatings, polymers, or specialty chemicals preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer accounts in the Florida territory.
• Provide technical product support, troubleshooting, and application recommendations.
• Conduct customer site visits and product trials to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with Technical Service and R&D on testing and improvements.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain sales pipeline visibility.
• Travel 40–60% within the territory to support customers.
